Today we are announcing that DevMountain will be increasing tuition for all Web Development Immersive courses this year. This includes our Provo, Salt Lake City, Dallas, and Phoenix campuses.
Tuition for Web Development Immersive will increase by $1,000 — from $10,900 to $11,900.
The tuition increase will apply only to students who submit applications for the Web Development Immersive after the following dates:
Provo Campus
Application Deadline: July 2, 2018
Enrollment Deadline: December 31, 2018
Salt Lake City Campus
Application Deadline: July 2, 2018
Enrollment Deadline: December 31, 2018
Dallas Campus
Application Deadline: July 16, 2018
Enrollment Deadline: December 31, 2018
Phoenix Campus
Application Deadline: October 22, 2018
Enrollment Deadline: April 30, 2019
Why the Increase?
Over the past several months, our education team has been making huge investments into make the quality of our education even better.
“The investments we have been making toward strengthening and testing our curriculum and student experience for the past few years requires a tuition increase,” says Mark Hansen, President of DevMountain. “Our students are already getting the benefit of that investment, and in order to continue growth and improvements, this tuition increase is the next step. We strive to be the most accessible bootcamp option and we do not take the decision to increase tuition lightly. Our last tuition increase was in 2016 and we remained below the industry average tuition cost. With this increase we still remain well within the average tuition range and are able to continue to provide the level of service we strive to give every student that trusts us with their bootcamp education.”

Tuition investments help DevMountain maintain facilities, attract and retain the tech industry’s best instructors, and strengthen curriculum. Tuition increases must happen over time to properly prepare students to join the evolving tech industry.
Just to clarify, this tuition increase only applies to DevMountain’s Web Development Immersive courses. At this time, we do not have more information regarding tuition increases for our other courses.
What If I’m Not Ready to Attend?
You’ll notice that there are two deadlines listed above for each campus. One is the “application” deadline and the other is the “enrollment” deadline. The application deadline is when your application needs to be in, regardless of the cohort you are applying to. As long as you enroll into a cohort that has a start date before the enrollment deadline, you’ll be able to get the original $10,900 tuition rate.
In other words, even if you are on the fence about attending DevMountain, simply submit your application before the application deadline and you can always switch/defer to another cohort as long as the start date is before the enrollment deadline. You are also free to withdraw your application from DevMountain at anytime.
