DevMountain Sponsors Lehi Junior High’s Good Human’s Project

This October (2018), Lehi Junior High launched the Good Human’s Project–a program that awards students for doing good deeds within their school community. DevMountain decided to sponsor this ongoing project in order to help encourage young students that they should be the change they wish to see in the world.

Every month, students will have the opportunity to be nominated by school staff for their kind deeds that they do within the school’s halls. At the end of the month, the selected students receive a t-shirt that says, “Good Human,” on the front and, “The world is full of good people. If you can’t find one, be one,” on the back.

The school staff then holds a short program where they invite the students to join their parents and read together the reasons why the student was awarded the Good Human Award. At this program, members of the school district administration, state legislators, and city council members are present to congratulate the students for being positive members of their school community.

“When we heard about the Good Human’s Project, it just made total sense to get involved,” Brandon Hassler, Director of Marketing at DevMountain, said. “We want to be a part of this because any program that encourages people to be the better version of themselves is something that DevMountain wants to be behind.”

DevMountain and Lehi Junior High are excited to see the good that will come from this project. For now, we encourage all to be good humans within their community!
